Gary Zimmerman; Director of Youth Ministries

I can't believe the new school year is here!  We had a great time over the summer and have some awesome events scheduled for this fall and winter.  Just a reminder that Jr. High and Sr. High students will meet on separate nights.  Please feel free to download a calendar to view the dates and times.

In September, there's the annual "See You at the Pole" where students gather and pray around their school's flag poles.  Tony Wolf will also be here at Trinity for a free concert of high energy, music and comedy.  And for our new 7th graders, we invite you to the Confirmation Retreat at Camp Manitoqua.  It's a Trinity tradition!

October will bring us to Orland Bowl for a fun afternoon of bowling.

Sr. High students join us in November as we host the Sr. High Volleyball Tournament here at Trinity.

In December several "I'm Third" projects will bring us to the Children's Hunger Fund in Homewood for Teddy Bear Wrapping and the Daybreak Shelter in Joliet for the Joliet Soup Kitchen.  To make the season brighter, Jr. High students, save the date for the Christmas party here at Trinity.  Sr. High students will celebrate on the Trolley Trip to downtown Chicago.

All events will be posted on the website and information can be downloaded on the events handout link.  Permission forms must be turned in for events requiring them.  Sign up in the book on the Youth table or on the web (if applicable to the event).

If you need anything I'm here for you.  You can reach me at the church at 708 532-9395 x227 or email me at garyz@trinityluth.net.  Remember Jesus rocks and so do you!!!
