Thank you for all of your time, service and donations this year! We are spreading God's Word and sharing His love locally and in other communities.
First of all, we want to extend my sincere appreciation for everyone's patience during this transition in the Youth Department. Our Youth Board members are in the process of planning the event calendar for this coming year.
We are happy to report that we are continuing the Bible Study on Sunday mornings. It's a time of study, worship and an opportunity to get to know God and other students. Jr. High students will meet at 9:30am in TLS' Science Room under the direction of Mr. Al Berg. Our Sr. High students will meet at 11:00am in the Conference Room under the direction of Ms. Katrina Kloess. We hope your child will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to grow in the Word and in their faith.
Youth Group is continuing to meet on Wednesday nights. Jr. & Sr. High students will meet every Wednesday night from 7:00-8:30pm. We hope to see your child there as we grow in faith and spread the Gospel!

The Sr. High Mission Trip to Kokomo, IN is scheduled for July 8 thru July 13, 2012. The next Mission Trip Bible Study is scheduled on April 29th at 11am in the Conference Room. Also, the final meeting for the Misson Trip is scheduled for June 24th.
We haven't forgotten about our Jr. High students. There are several options for summer camp offered at Camp Manitoqua. Please see handouts on Youth table or visit the Jr. High page on this site.
If April showers bring May flowers, then it's perfectly alright to schedule the Youth Car Wash on Saturday, May 19 from 10am-2pm! The second Car Wash in Friday, June 22 from 11-3pm! It's another opportunity for our students to supplement their Mission Trip expenses. A freewill offering will be taken. **Permission Slips are Required (on the Youth Table)**
Help feed those less fortunate by volunteering at the Daybreak Shelter aka Joliet Soup Kitchen on Saturday, June 9 from 8:30am to 1:00pm. Meet at church at 8:15am for a ride. Arriving back at 1:15ish pm. Space is limited so sign up now. For more information please contact Judy Culich at 708 687-0022.

Some events and times may be subject to change so we do encourage you to keep up-to-date by visiting this site or checking the Youth section of the bulletin. Please feel free to download a Youth Calendar too for a reference. If you're interested in attending an event we do ask that you sign up. It allows the Youth Department to know how many volunteers need to be scheduled and food required. Thank you!
Permission forms are required for all activities and can be downloaded at the top of the Jr. High, Sr. High, Service Opportunity and Parent's pages. A suggestion parents: Why not complete the form and use it as a master? Copies can be made from it for future use. (The only exception will be if there are special events which require more forms and that will be denoted in the content box.) If you could possibly turn in forms as soon as sign ups are made, it would be greatly appreciated and help us out.
